One of the largest impact-first investors in Canada, Grand Challenges Canada (GCC) is dedicated to supporting Bold Ideas with Big Impact®. Funded by the Government of Canada and other partners, GCC funds innovators in low- and middle-income countries and Canada. The bold ideas GCC supports integrate science and technology, social and business innovation – known as Integrated Innovation®.
Kore Global has been working with Grand Challenges Canada since 2022 to provide monitoring and evaluation (M&E) support to their innovations across their global health and humanitarian portfolios. GCC’s portfolios include a diverse array of ventures—non-profits, companies, and social enterprises at different stages of growth—which means Kore Global provides bespoke, flexible, and timely support to meet the unique needs of innovators while satisfying GCC’s results reporting requirements.
Kore Global’s team of results-driven M&E Venture Advisors is developing “right-sized” approaches tailored to GCC’s needs. This includes providing tailored support to help innovators craft logic models, identify meaningful indicators, and systematically capture and communicate their impact, enabling them to showcase progress toward achieving complex and long-term outcomes. Kore Global provides additional support to build the capacity of GCC staff on MEL by facilitating webinars and developing various tools and resources.
